We designed the maintenance request functionality to provide for:

Tracking each state of each maintenance request until completion.

Providing for notes of what occurred in each state or just general notes.
These states are available:

New
-
Approved
-
In process
-
Completed
When you view the maintenance tab you will see a table of maintenance requests.
In each row you will see the description and the status among other data.
The status is the state as described above.
View one row in the maintenance request table and click on the "Description" link. A pop up will appear with the capability to make changes to the state and notes of the maintenance request .
