Only the primary tenant can pay rent.
Additional tenants can be registered with a rental property. Mostly seen as legal residents.
Since the law is very strict on the legal responsibility for rent payment. One "Primary Tenant" is the party responsible to pay rent.
Only the Primary tenant can be invited to the tenant portal.
If the situation changes with a rental property that has roommates, it is our suggestion the current lease should be legally ended and a new lease should be created. Once this new lease is created, a new primary tenant can be legally declared and sign the new lease.
