During the move-in-tenant process, you will check a check box (slider) to invite your new tenant to the tenant portal.
The tenant portal offers:
- Rent payments
- Maintenance requests
- Monthly tenant statements
- Note: you will upload a picture of the tenant's drivers license for identity validation
This checkbox (slider) invokes our system which then sends the invitation email to the tenant's email address you entered for the tenant, When the tenant opens the email they will see a invitation link in the email body. Upon clicking on this link the tenant will be taken to the registration page in our tenant portal. This is like any other web site registration process.

During the registration process the forms will ask the tenant for bank data to validate the bank account they will use for rent payments.
If your tenant is paying with a checking account, they need to verify it before they can make payments. To verify their bank account, your tenant needs to check their bank in a few days for the exact amounts of the two small deposits. A email will be sent to them as a reminder with a link to complete this bank account verification process.
As long as those amounts match what we have on file, their bank account will be verified. Once this is complete, they're all set up!

How to monitor your tenant's progress
You can monitor each tenant's progress from the details page of your tenants under the properties tab. You will see either "ready to pay" or "not set up yet".
